Cultural center

Thanks to private partnerships, the G&T Foundation will be in charge of the Casa de Amelia Cultural Center, in the historic center of the Municipality of El Retiro, Antioquia. It will have several rooms to learn about Republican architecture and objects, other rooms for modern and contemporary art and design, a store, a café, and the house's patios for enjoying quiet music. The project will have volunteers in mediation and a group of professionals in architecture, economics, law, and public relations.

This project seeks to raise awareness among locals and visitors about the value of movable heritage, to spread the history of the area and to be a meeting point for cultural activities.

The new Casa de Amelia Cultural Center will be integrated into the cultural circuit of El Retiro where CUBO, the Laboratorio del Espíritu, Bookshops, Casa ENSŌ and a new gastronomic offer are located, which seeks to promote true cultural tourism and healthy recreation that contributes to social and economic development.
